The beautiful waters off the coast of Louisiana are waiting to be explored, and A Fishing Fool Coastal Charter is here to make it happen! Join Captain Mike B, a third-generation charter captain, who’s ready to take you to the fish. He’ll show all the best spots in the area, as well as the best techniques to use to maximize your chances of reeling in big fish.

You’ll head out on his 22’ Shearwater bay boat, a safe and reliable vessel taking up to 6 anglers per trip. It’s powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine, and it’s here to take you to the best fishing grounds in Louisiana. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience, as well as a wireless trolling motor so you can sneak up to those easily-spooked fish more easily.

Capt. Mike will take you out on the saltwater lakes out of New Orleans, where the views are beautiful and fish are abundant. There’s a variety of species inhabiting these lakes, and you can expect to fill up the ice box with the likes of Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, as well as the beautiful Sheepshead.

Everything you need will be ready for you on board, including rods, reels, and tackle. You’ll be fishing using a range of artificial lures provided by Capt. Mike. He’s more than happy to carefully clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, so you can expect to have a delicious meal upon your return home.

These are nice and calm waters, so a trip with Capt. Mike is a great way of spending some quality family time. If you’d like to take your kids on an adventure, feel free to do so. You’ll some new memories together, and they’ll never forget the fun they’ve had fishing. Drinks are available on board, but make sure to bring some food for your refreshment, as well as sunscreen.

If you'd like to spend the whole day exploring the waters off the coast of Louisiana, this is the trip for you! A full day trip with Capt. Mike will consist of a heavy dose of fish, water, and sun. It's your best option to really put a beat down on your favorite species of fish, including Flounder, Sheepshead, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. You'll have plenty of time to try out Capt. Mike favorites honey holes, and one of them is sure to pay off.  Fish are a guarantee!
