Your Fishing Charter

A day out with Saltyhookfishing Charters is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to explore the inshore and nearshore waters of Florida’s west coast. These shallow waters offer exciting fishing opportunities, and this boat will have all you need for a fun-filled adventure with your family or friends. Captain Torey Long is an experienced angler who has been fishing his entire life. His father introduced him to the waters when Torey was a young boy and he has never looked back.

All you have to do is choose a trip that suits you best and join Capt. Torey on his 23’ Skeeter bay boat. This vessel was built in 2016 and comes powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine. Once on board, you will find everything that is needed for a comfortable and productive day on the water, including ice, water,  Penn and Shimano gear, two livewells, and enough room for up to six anglers.

Saltyhook Charters operates all year round. If you’re a fan of the ‘Silver King,’ Tarpon fishing is best in springtime. The list of your potential catches includes Grouper, Redfish, Snapper, Seatrout, Snook, and Spanish Mackerel. You’ll be trolling behind the boat, mainly, and you’ll snap into action upon hearing the reels screech. Try your hand, also, at popping or jigging, and even bottom fish along the reefs for maximum effect.

For Capt. Torey, the best part of the job is being out on the water and making sure everyone has fun. He would love to see you match his record of catching a Snook of 42 inches, so come and put your skills to the test.
