Make an adventure out of your next trip in South Lake Tahoe and go fishing with Tahoe Trophy Trout.

These waters are known for Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Steelhead, Sockeye Salmon, and more. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

You'll be dropping lines from a 22' Starcraft boat with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. It's recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be water provided on board. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Tahoe Trophy Trout

Half-day trips run from 5 a.m. – 10 a.m. morning trip, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. late morning trip, or 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. evening trip up to 6 people. 

The boat minimum is $880 for 1 to 4 people. 
$1100  for 5 people. 
$1300 for 6 people.
