Ray Hunt's love for fishing started as a kid in West Virginia, casting lines into the New River. Over the years, he's been in Texas, working in Real Estate, but fishing has always been his joy. He's spent over 50 years diving into the local waters, including Lake Conroe. In 2023, Ray's dream came true! He became a fishing guide! His heart beats for Lake Conroe, and he's thrilled to share the fishing excitement with everyone. Ray's passion is to introduce new folks to the joy of fishing. Full Day Trip on April 19, 2024
Great day on the water
Had a great day on the water with Capt. Ray. He was great with up front communication and was clear on our expectations and desires for the day before leaving the dock. The bite was slow to start the day but Captain stuck with it and worked with us to ensure we had opportunities. Then the bite got hot and was lights out for several hours. Captain Ray worked hard to ensure we always had lines in the water and stayed on the fish. Overall a great day and a great experience with a Captain that worked...

Great experience, great guide
We went fishing for bass on a day that didn’t look promising, and Captain Ray got us on the fish. Caught a bunch of nice bass (including the “big one” that got away!) Ray is a great guy, very knowledgeable, helpful, and a pleasure to be with. Learned a lot, had a great time. Recommend Ray for people with all levels of experience

How cancellations work
Free cancellation up to 1 day prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
Kids 13 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times. Life jackets are provided.
No Alcohol on the boat per insurance reasons

Book with 30% deposit, pay rest to captain
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 30% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
