Captain Mike Delzingo welcomes you on board the “Fishbucket”. She’s a twin diesel, 32’ Wellcraft Coastal Express. At close to 20,000 pounds, she's a big boat and handles the seas in comfort & speed.
 She's got all the amenities for an enjoyable day on the water from a clean private heated bathroom, to a huge deck big enough for your party of six plus a heated wheelhouse for a nice dry comfortable ride in any conditions.

 Outfitted with a state of the art Lowrance electronics package plus safety equipment well above & beyond the minimum coast guard requirements. The FISHBUCKET is USCG inspected for commercial fishing operations over 100+ miles offshore. 

 With a 6 passenger capacity, you can bring 5 friends or family with you on a fishing excursion in Boston Harbor. Offshore trips are meant for up to 4 anglers only.

There is always a first mate on board to help you have the most success and assist you in any way needed for a successful charter.  

  Inshore fishing in Boston Harbor can land you Striped Bass and Bluefish – it’s great for anglers of all ages. Kids are more than welcome and there is no minimum age.

Offshore trips can target bottom fish, Sharks & Tuna

All fishing tackle is provided and you don't even need a fishing license, as the Captain’s license covers everyone on board.




Fishbucket Sportfishing/Boston Harbor Fishing

This is an OFFSHORE 12-hour trip for 4 passengers max.
We will head 20-50 miles OFFSHORE, in search LARGE pelagic sharks & LARGE tuna.
We also bottom fish for tasty fish like haddock, pollack & cod while waiting for the big ones to bite.
This is a chance to battle some of the largest fish in the Atlantic
Fish can be processed & shipped home for a fee.
 No Whimps, Weenies or land lubbers!

This is an OPEN BOAT/ SHARED TRIP, meaning there could be up to 6 total passengers on board (strangers). Enjoy the sunset over the beautiful city of Boston as you fish inside the harbor and around the city. This is a chance to see the city from the water while getting a little fishing time in.
 These are short trips and we have limited time and distance to find the fish. The fishing can be hit or miss on the sunset trips. 
 If you're coming to Boston "just to fish" we recommend a morning trip.

3-Hr weeknight trip June & July

Same as the open boat trip, but you'll have the entire boat to yourself for up to 6 people!
 Enjoy the sunset over the beautiful city of Boston as you fish inside the harbor and around the city. This is a chance to see the city from the water while getting a little fishing time in.
  These are short trips and we have limited time and distance to find the fish. The fishing can be hit or miss on the sunset trips. 
If you're coming to Boston "just to fish" we recommend a morning trip.

Private weeknight trip June & July

This is a striped bass fishing trip inside Boston harbor.
Striped bass are a highly sought-after after Sport-fish/Game-fish. 
 This is primarily a "catch & release" fishery. If you are lucky enough to catch a legal size fish, you are more than welcome to take it home to eat. This is gentleman's fishing. This is not a trip to the fish market.

These fish can be challenging to catch,  especially if you:
1. Have ZERO fishing experience.
2. Have NEVER fished in saltwater.
3. Have NEVER been on a boat before.

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (1PM)

This is a striped bass fishing trip inside Boston harbor.
Striped bass are a highly sought-after after Sport-fish/Game-fish. 
 This is primarily a catch & release fishery. If you are lucky enough to catch a legal size fish, you are more than welcome to take it home to eat. This is gentleman's fishing. This is not a trip to the fish market.

These fish can be challenging to catch,  especially if you:
1. Have ZERO fishing experience.
2. Have NEVER fished in saltwater.
3. Have NEVER been on a boat before.

4Hour Evening – Inshore- 5pm-9pm

This is our most popular trip and also the first to book out.
 Striped bass is a highly sought-after sportfish/gamefish. Striped bass is primarily a "catch & release" fishery. Striped bass must be within the "slot" limit of 28"-31" to keep/kill, so if you are lucky enough to catch a keeper you are more than welcome to take it home to eat. 
This is gentlemen's fishing with a chance to bring home some fish to eat.
This is not party boat fishing elbow to elbow loading coolers with dead fish.

6 Hour Trip – Inshore (6AM)

This is our October, 6-hour "Mixed-Bag" inshore trip.
 We will fish for whatever gives us the best opportunity that day.
Could be striped bass & Bluefish inside the city, or mackerel and bottom fish just offshore.
 A chance to get out on the water before the inshore season is over.

6 Hour " Mixed-Bag" inshore (7-am)

6 Hour Trip – Inshore (1PM)

This is a full day, 8 hour trip, be sure to bring a lunch. You'll start your day fishing for bait like mackerel. You'll target Stripers and Bluefish using several techniques like live bait drifting, slow trolling, casting to blitzing fish, and more. Flounder is also an option on this trip in springtime.
*Striped bass must be within the "slot" limit of 28"-31" to keep, so if you are lucky enough to catch a keeper, you are more than welcome to take it home to eat.
