Captain Mike Delzingo welcomes you on board Boston's famous “FISHBUCKET” She’s a twin turbo-diesel, 32’ Wellcraft Coastal Express. At close to 20,000 pounds she's a big boat and handles the seas in comfort & speed.
She's got all the amenities for an enjoyable day on the water, from a clean private heated bathroom, to a huge deck big enough for your party of six. Plus a heated wheelhouse for a nice dry comfortable ride in any conditions.
Outfitted with a state of the art Lowrance electronics package plus safety equipment well above & beyond the minimum coast guard requirements. The FISHBUCKET is USCG inspected for commercial fishing operations over 100+ miles offshore.
6 passenger capacity for inshore trips, Offshore trips are for 4 passengers max.
Inshore fishing in Boston Harbor can land you Striped Bass and Bluefish – it’s great for anglers of all ages. Kids are more than welcome and there is no minimum age.
Offshore trips can target bottom fish, Sharks & Tuna
There is always a first mate on board to help you have the best chance at a successful charter, plus clean the boat and all gear before you arrive and after you leave.
The first mate works ONLY FOR TIPS and 20% tip is REQUIRED for every trip.
If you can't/won't tip the mate 20%, or can't calculate what 20% is, don't book the trip!
All fishing tackle is provided and you don't need a fishing license.l

Captain Brad and his deckhand Jason are the best charter staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of going out with. Was able to hookup with 26 total striper, all 30” plus, in a 6-hour morning charter— most ridiculous day of fishing we’ve ever had. Brad and Jason were professional, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. I’ll be going out in the harbor with Fishbucket exclusively going forward. Dont second guess it all— these are the guys to go out with!

I can’t recommend this trip enough! The guys had an absolutely incredible time from start to finish. They were catching fish nonstop and couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing day they had. Everything exceeded their expectations—from the experience itself to the overall atmosphere. They had such a great time that they’re already planning booking again for next year. If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing trip, this is it. Thank you for giving them such a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back!

We had a simply phenomenal time with Fishbucket captain Mike and his skipper Jay. Caught far more fish than we anticipated!! Even got a full education on the Islands and lighthouses since we literally caught double digit number of striped bass in what felt like record time. Mike definitely knows how to spot em. Next time we go fishing it’ll 100% be with Fishbucket

We had an awesome time on the Fishbucket. Booked a four hour trip for Father’s Day. Captain Mike and First Mate Danny clearly know their fish, good spots, technique. We are mostly novices but they helped our whole family make sure everyone reeled in their own fish. We caught 5 stripers (one keeper) on an afternoon trip when our expectations for catching anything weren’t super high. But they made sure it happened. Great fun. Beautiful day out on the harbor. They took care of absolutely everything. Excellent trip!

Took my whole family for a day out. Early morning inshore. Choppy waves, Captain did great. 8 yo & 3 yo both caught monster stripers. Whole family was involved. It was absolute madness for over two hours straight. Loved every second. Cannot reccommend enough

Born and raised a fisherman, as are my children. Owning and operating a charter boat was my destiny.' Captain Mike Delzingo has been fishing for four and a half decades. He's spent the past 32 years fishing saltwater right here in Boston harbor, learning the tricks of the trade and the taste of the local species. Captain Mike is also one of only a handful of local rod and reel commercial fishermen. Supplying fresh, local, sustainably caught seafood to restaurants and markets in the Boston area. Captain Brad is a chip off the old block! On board since he was just 11 days old. Brad was born and raised fishing right here in Boston harbor. Fishing is in his veins. Winning or placing high in many local tournaments. At 16 years old he set the IGFA WORLD RECORD for a shark he caught just 30 miles from port. At 18 years old, he was one of the youngest licensed captains in Boston. Now 23 years old, he has started his own guide service and runs the Fishbucket during the week. Captain Mike and Captain Brad will gladly show you the ropes and help you have a lot of fun on the blue waters of Boston. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
