Your Fishing Charter

Bounty Bay PSJ 
Charters is located on the waters of Port Saint Joe, Florida. Run and operated by Captain Pete, they invite you for a ride to land you on the fish of your dream. With Captain Pete the possibilities are endless!

You will be sailing aboard a 27’ Pro-Line boat, powered by a 250 HP Honda outboard engine. The boat has a maximum speed of 40 knots and is rigged with top-notch navigation gear, as well as an anchoring system for a smooth ride, an ice-box, and a live bait tank. What is more, there is a private head on board the vessel for maximum comfort. 

Bounty Of The Bay Charters can customize each trip to your needs and desires. If you just want to check what is biting, then the half-day trip is just what you need. You can choose between fishing inshore or flats, going for Flounder, Redfish, Trout or King Mackerel, Black Drum, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, and some more. The six-hour trip will see you sailing up to 9 miles, and the offshore package can get your hands full on Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Cobia, Almaco Jack… the list just keeps going! Your targeted species will depend on the season and what is biting best.

Captain Pete uses a great variety of fishing techniques, including light tackle, heavy tackle, spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, and many more. 

Your trip with Bounty Bay PSJ Charters will include fishing rods, reels, live bait, tackle, licenses, and lures. You may want to bring your own food and drinks aboard.

On this trip, you will spend all day offshore bottom fishing for Multiple species of Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack etc. depending on what’s in season or trolling for King Makerel, Spanish Mackerel, and sometimes we find some Mahi Mahi. These trips we use more heavy tackle so generally most kids are around 12yrs old before they are able to tackle these fish without assistance. I do not recommend taking kids under 10yrs old offshore.

This package can be customized to fit any angler's needs. Ideal for a group of friends or a family. You will be fishing the flats for Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and some sheepshead depending on the time of year. Or you can choose to go trolling in the spring time for Spanish Mackerel and these trips are great for kids. This is just an example for a 4 hour trip. Dolphin sightings are always possible.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM)

This package compares the same as the AM trips. We fish for the same type of species. We will target whats in season and what has been biting in the bay and back waters!

Half Day Trip – Inshore (PM)

This is a Nearshore/offshore fishing trip depending on request and where the fish are active! King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Bonita, and sometimes we luck out and get a Wahoo! These fish are fast and big fighters! Recommend for ages 10 and up.

3/4 day Trolling

This trip will give you enough time to mix it up between bottom fishing around artificial reefs and trolling. It's a great option for adults as well as kids 10 and up (Recommended. When bottom fishing, we will target Grouper, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, Mangrove Snapper, depending on what’s in season. Also some trolling, you'll have the chance to hook into King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, etc. If you’re looking to make some unforgettable memories this is a great choice! ??
