Charters is located on the waters of Port Saint Joe, Florida. Run and operated by Captain Pete, they invite you for a ride to land you on the fish of your dream. With Captain Pete the possibilities are endless!
You will be sailing aboard a 27’ Pro-Line boat, powered by a 250 HP Honda outboard engine. The boat has a maximum speed of 40 knots and is rigged with top-notch navigation gear, as well as an anchoring system for a smooth ride, an ice-box, and a live bait tank. What is more, there is a private head on board the vessel for maximum comfort.
Bounty Of The Bay Charters can customize each trip to your needs and desires. If you just want to check what is biting, then the half-day trip is just what you need. You can choose between fishing inshore or flats, going for Flounder, Redfish, Trout or King Mackerel, Black Drum, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, and some more. The six-hour trip will see you sailing up to 9 miles, and the offshore package can get your hands full on Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Cobia, Almaco Jack… the list just keeps going! Your targeted species will depend on the season and what is biting best.
Captain Pete uses a great variety of fishing techniques, including light tackle, heavy tackle, spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, and many more.
Your trip with Bounty Bay PSJ Charters will include fishing rods, reels, live bait, tackle, licenses, and lures. You may want to bring your own food and drinks aboard.

Great fishing trip for beginners!

Captain Pete did an excellent job! Would highly recommend him to anyone. We were able to change our date due to weather conditions and he was very accommodating in changing the plans. He is very knowledgable in many different types of fish and how to catch them. Was very attentive to bait all our hooks and just letting us pull them into the boat one after another. The fish were biting great and it was a perfect day of fishing. Will use him again in the future for family fishing trips! Thanks Captain Pete!!

Epic day fishing with Captn Pete

I have been chartering fishing trips for 20 years, and this one was by far the best. We limited out in Kings and Snapper and hooked into a large Sail Fish! Capn Pete was knowledge, efficient, and very kind. I would recommend him and we for sure will be booking with him again!

Captain Pete hooked us up. We were scheduled for an inshore trip Captain Pete told me Snapper season was open for the Florida guides and residents. So we decided to take full advantage of this. A short ride to the first spot we hooked up. We were able to catch our limit. Pete is a great friendly Captain with tons of knowledge. We will be booking with him next time we come down.

Captain P is a down to earth good ole southern man, we got right on them as soon as we made it out to his spots 20-30 miles out. Had to to do some run and gun fishing to dodge the dolphins and sharks but he found a way to navigate around them. Caught a lot of fish and had a blast, highly recommend captain P, we’ll definitely be back.

Captain Pete did an amazing job of getting us right on the fish. We caught our limit of 40 Vermillion Snapper and one Trigger fish. We caught a ton of red snapper and plenty of trigger, flounder and grouper that either weren’t in season or weren’t big enough. We did the off shore trip and couldn’t have asked for better weather. Definitely recommend Captain Pete!
