If you're ready to try fishing in St. Augustine, we've got you covered with Knot Tied Down Fishing Charters. With Captain Jerry at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Species like Cobia, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Black Seabass, Blackfin Tuna, Almaco Jack, and more are in the cards, depending on conditions. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

You'll be welcome aboard a 40' Jersey offshore sport fishing with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. 

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
