Your Fishing Charter

If you're ready to get hooked on fishing in Victoria Mahe, we've got you covered with Legacy Charters Seychelles.

These waters are known for Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Giant trevally, jobe fish, black tip sharks  Wahoo, Striped Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"

For these species, you're likely to troll, popping and jigging. Legacy Charters also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. 

Fish caught during the trip are yours to take home, so long as they're within the legal limit. The captain advises people to release as much as possible, in an effort to preserve stocks.

Your boat for the day is a 36' Center console, with space for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing boat can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience along with 3x fresh water showers.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.

On our half day trips you will experience the beautiful surroundings of mahe island. While on our 5 hour trip the fishing techniques will be popping for Gt , jorbefish, black tip reef sharks etc ,  jigging for grouper, GT, yellow spotted trevally and many more as well as live baite fishing for sailfish and GT as we like the clients to be active while fishing. We also indulge in trolling for yellow fin tuna, wahoo, bonito and others if requested.
Refreshments and snacks are provided as well as full tackle.
