Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Drum, Bluefish, Cobia, Crab, Flounder, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Sheepshead, and whatever else takes the bait. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. On our 3/4 day trip, we will venture farther offshore up to 12 miles to bottom fish and troll for various species including King/Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, bottom fish, Spadefish, and Cobia.  We will fish various artificial reefs and bottom structures.

Fish a vast area to include Winyah Bay, North and South Santee Bays, Sampit River, Georgetown Jetties and north Inlet.  Using various methods to include artificials. live bait. bottom fishing and trolling, you will have the opportunity to catch red drum, speckled trout, flounder, mackerel, sheepshead and sharks.

Georgetown 6 hour trip

Fish one of the most pristine estuaries in the United States.  Fish miles and miles of inshore waters, sometimes without seeing another boat all day.  McClellanville is a beautiful fishing village between Georgetown and Charleston.  Fish in the shadows of shrimp boats and abandoned lighthouses
