Bottoms Up Fishing Excursions invites you for a fun and relaxing trip on the waters of Holiday, Florida. This charter is for those who want to have fun and relax, and for families with kids. Captain Carlos, who owns and runs the charter, loves taking kids out and teaching them how to fish properly by explaining the fish, the techniques, and how to reel your catch in. 

Captain Carlos operates a 30-foot Baha offshore sport fishing boat, originally built in 1985, and restored in 2015. This beauty is powered by two 300 HP Suzuki engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The speed makes it ideal for nearshore and offshore adventures so you can relax and enjoy the ride, too, as it will be a comfortable one. 

The boat has an XM radio if you want a soundtrack to your trip, and is fully equipped with all the fishing gear needed to make the trip a success. It also features a full bathroom, safety equipment such as life jackets, and electronics that will help you locate the most productive fishing spots. 

Bottoms Up Fishing Excursions will take you up to 80 miles offshore in search of the big Groupers, Snappers, Cobia, King Mackerel and more. Florida is incredibly rich in bottom-feeding fish, so, if you stay a little closer to the shore, you will also target Mangrove Snapper, Black Seabass, Sheepshead, and more. 

Captain Carlos will provide individual service for everyone on the boat. All of his customers are treated like fishermen and fisherwomen. Families and children are welcomed and encouraged to come and spend a day or just a few hours with him. You will experience catching a multitude of species on a day that you’ll remember forever!

We will target goliath grouper and big sharks on the wrecks and deep holes a few miles offshore. Strictly catch n release on this trip but there are snapper and grouper nearby for a dinner or two for a little variety!

This shorter trip is ideal for families as the kids sometimes get a little tired from reeling in all those fish. So, you will fish in protected waters, up to 7 miles out, catching Snapper, Grouper, Grunts, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Cobia.

On this trip, we will focus on the many different varieties of Shark species available. We have Blacktips, Atlantic Sharpnose, Nurse, and Lemon Shark abundant.

4 Hour Shark Trip (AM)

On this trip, you will be fishing up to 15 miles offshore which gives a great chance at catching bigger fish like King Mackerel, Cobia, Groupers, and Snappers. Hogfish , blackseabass and white grunts also.

Half Day Trip (AM)

We will focus on the vast amount of sharks available in our area.

4 Hour Shark Trip (PM)

This is an afternoon trip ideal for those who want to catch some dinner. We will be fishing up to 15 miles offshore for black seabass, hogfish, sheepshead, grunts and mangrove snappers

Half Day Trip (PM)

We will be fishing farther north up to 20 miles to fish a large area of coral bottom that has larger seabass, margates, Groupers and snappers and also lots of hogfish

6 Hour Coral Bottom Fishing Trip

We will be fishing offshore 35-45 miles out catching big red grouper , red snapper, lane, mangrove and yellowtail snappers . We also target amberjack and cobias.

Full Day Trip

We will be fishing 40-60 miles offshore for big grouper and snappers. Expect lots of fish and lots of fun on this offshore safari!

10hr Offshore Rocks And Ledges

We will be fishing 65-85 miles out in the deeper water where the groupers and snappers are extra large! There's also mahi, blackfin tuna and an occasional wahoo thrown in the mix. Lots of big fish and sore arms on this one !
