Your Fishing Charter

Spend the day with Fish-N-Tripp Charters and see what's biting in the surrounding waters of the Outer Banks! Growing up on the Outer Banks with years of experience fishing on the water, your captain will not only be very competent to put you on the fish, but will also be able to educate you on some of the Outer Banks history and landmarks that you will see in passing throughout your day on the water. 
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Flounder, Bluefish, Striped Bass, Sheepshead, or Spanish Mackerel. But you never know what is out there until you go see for yourself! During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Tripp also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. 

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. 

Capt. Tripp runs a 25' C-Hawk center console with room for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered with the charter, along with lures and bait.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time on the water! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses.

Our target species on these fishing trips include Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Striped Bass, and Bluefish. This is a great option for anyone looking to fish with light tackle, whether you are a beginner or a novice fisherman! We are a family-friendly boat that loves helping a kid catch their first fish!

This 4-hour inshore fishing trip is a great option for those looking to fish using light tackle in the local sound waters or nearshore ocean waters. We will be targeting Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Bluefish, and other inshore species. This mid-day trip is also a great option for families to come aboard who don't want to wake up early enough for a morning fishing trip, but still want to go fishing!

This afternoon/evening fishing trip we will target whatever species seems to be biting the best this time of year to ensure us the best chance of a fun time catching fish and enjoying an afternoon out on the water!

This evening inshore fishing trip is a great option for those looking to get out on the water in the late afternoon with a chance to find a hot Red Drum or Speckled Trout bite! This trip is a great option for those with families or for those advanced anglers looking to get on the Outer Banks' inshore fishing action! You might even catch a beautiful sunset over the water!
