Lake Erie has a fish with your name on it, so let D3 charters help you catch it! Having spent many years on the water chasing Trophy Walleye, Captain Don can put you on a fish of a lifetime or a fun relaxing day catching fish and filling your freezer. Walleye are one of the best eating freshwater fish on the planet. 

These waters are known for Walleye, Yellow Perch, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.

On these trips, it’s common to troll with trolling gear or casting with spinning equipment. 

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Just let me know how many children, to be sure that child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

Your boat for the day is a 21ft Warrior, one of the safest and best boats on the water with space for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. The latest and greatest electronics available, top notch rods and reels with the best tackle on the market. 

Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lure, and live bait. If you're looking to get involved, I can make this as hands on as you wish. 
From setting rods, picking lures, netting fish, there’s no limits to the amount of participation.  

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online through my website, or you can call me. 

A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

This is exactly what it sounds like. Come out and catch a pile of fish to fill the freezer. We will be running church boards trolling a bunch of different lures to put fish in the boat. This is the most popular trip I offer. You can get as involved as you want on this trip. Set rods, pick lures, net fish, etc. - It's completely up to you.

We will be fishing from Cleveland to Conneaut ohio. Trolling for walleye deep offshore. Time to fill the freezer on some walleye fattening up on smelt. Dont miss out on the late summer fall bite.

Late summer fall trips

This your standard fishing charter. Fishing in a way that you want to do it trolling,casting,jigging. Enjoying the day on beautiful lake erie reeling in fish. Bring your cooler to fill up with your catch.

Trolling casting

This is your chance to get in on the fun of fishing for a ton of money. Everyone on the boat must be in both derbies. We will split any of the winnings that we win. This is an all day trip no dock to dock limits. Bring some warm clothes and a big cooler. Lets roll!!!

Fall brawl and walleye slam trip

This trip runs from vermilion to Ashtabula. Various techniques offshore trolling to casting for walleye or perch. 20 bucks off per person during the week monday thru friday.

2 man weekday 10% off

This is specific to mature Walleye. This means we will target bigger fish. I will use some techniques I use for tournament fishing. These trips can only be offered a few certain months of the year. March through early June and this depends a lot on the water temperature. Lake Erie has the potential to fish for multiple fish over 28 inches with the occasional 30 inch plus!

7 Hour Trip – Trophy walleye (AM)

This is a trophy walleye trip. Staying out and chasing the big girls by whatever means necessary.
