The one and only Freeman Boatworks Charter in Gulf Shores! At Msc Fishing Charters, we go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic experience.

Unlike some, we strive for quality catches, not just meeting limits. Our goal is to create memorable trips where you can proudly boast about the fish you reel in! 

Depending on the season, you'll have the opportunity to hook Amberjack, Snapper, Sheepshead, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Swordfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Cobia, and more. We employ various fishing techniques such as light tackle fishing, bottom fishing, and specialized methods unique to the area. You're welcome to take home any fish you catch within legal limits, and our captain even provides cleaning and bagging services, typically handling it personally. 

Families are welcome to join the adventure, provided children are no longer in diapers and can walk independently. Remember to pack essentials like snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, and non-spray sunblock. Please refrain from bringing large coolers with wheels, as our boat offers insulated cooler boxes. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but we kindly ask you to avoid glass bottles. Hard liquor is not permitted. You won't need to worry about fishing licenses as our charter boat covers that for you. Just show up ready to have a great time! With over 20 years of experience navigating these waters, your captain is dedicated to creating lifelong memories of your fishing excursion.

AM 6HR Red Snapper Trip

Scratch Tunas off your 'bucket list'? Look no further. We'll leave early in the morning then head 90-130 miles out. We'll check some of the Bluewater Oil Rigs until we find Tunas. Yellowfins, Big Eye and Blackfins but we usually focus on Yellowfin. We'll fish all day for tunas or until the box is full. We primary use live bait when available. Bait is available usually from March to November but Tunas are biting all year round.

12Hr Tuna Trip

*FUEL INCLUDED. Chance to catch The Fish of a Lifetime. Spots are usually 65-80miles out. We will start in +1200 ft of water sending baits down for a daytime swordfish bite. Go big or go home kind of trip, but we will work hard for one and have caught plenty. Depending on conditions and bite, we will adjust to deep dropping for deepwater groupers, tilefish, etc or moving 'up the shelf' in shallower water and fish for groupers, snappers and other bottom fish.

12Hr Daytime Swordfishing

*FUEL INCLUDED. Tons of action on this one! Spots are usually 50 to 70 miles out.  We will fish for deepwater groupers, tilefish, barrelfish and other deepwater species. Depending on bite we may be moving 'up the shelf' in shallower water and fish for groupers, snappers, amberjacks and other reef fish. Guaranteed fun and plenty of action. We fish for what is in season.

12Hr Deep Dropping/Bottom Trip

*FUEL INCLUDED. This one is for the hardcore ones with the chance of some lifetime memories. We'll leave at either 3PM or 10PM, head 80-100 miles out to some of the Bluewater Oil Rigs in search of Tunas. Yellowfins, Big Eye and Blackfins. We'll fish the morning bite there and then head in to deep drop for a daytime swordfish and spend the rest of the day trying hard to catch one.
