Your Fishing Charter

If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Double Down Guide Services! Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Josh knows them forwards and back.

These waters are known for Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Redfish, Tripletail, Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Sheepshead, Flounder, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 24’ Blazer Bay with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Josh has rods and reels for you. Fuel is not included in the price. The customer is responsible for the fuel bill at the end of each trip. 

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
