Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You'll find yourself aboard a 24' Blazer Bay with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Josh has rods and reels for you. Fuel is not included in the price. The customer is responsible for the fuel bill at the end of each trip.

Recent storm made conditions challenging. Capt Jack put us on the fish. Moved spots and caught our limit+ within a few hours. Good size fish.
Jace was a great fishing captain and took us all over the place! Caught our limit of red snapper within the first 15 minutes of putting our lines in the water! We had fun and would definitely recommend Venice Marina for another fishing trip.
my wife and i booked a full day inshore. caught lots of different species, plenty to bring back to the dock for dinner and my wife caught and landed a 40” Red. what a fish.
The charter operator canceled on trip date. This is an automated posting.
My guys had a great trip, caught reds drum and trout, they had a very successful trip. we definitely will use Double Down again and would recommend him to others.
