Your Fishing Charter

Make the most of your time in San Antonio and go fishing with Gonzalez Guide Service. Captain Roland will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of professional experience.

These waters are known for Redfish, Catfish, and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Your day begins aboard a 24’ Pathfinder bay boat that can carry up to 5 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t leave home without sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
