If fishing for Walleye on Lake Erie is what you’re planning to do this summer, look no further than D.D. Rod Father Sportfishing. Its owner and operator, Captain Dan Huska, is one of the most enthusiastic charter captains you’ll ever meet. 

He’s fully licensed and insured, with a boat that’s equipped with all the necessary gear to make any fishing trip safe and enjoyable. High-tech electronics along with top-notch terminal equipment make for a trip that’s not only fun but educational as well.

Speaking of which, his boat is a 25’ Sportcraft vessel that’s powered by a single 260 HP Mercruiser engine. It’s the perfect boat for navigating the bountiful waters of Lake Erie, and she’s fast enough to have you fishing in no time.

And what a time it is to be fishing on Lake Erie! Also known as the “Walleye capital of the world,” rest assured that it lives up to this reputation year after year. The Walleye boom is often the talk of the town and there is no end in sight.

Fishing is the primary target, but Lake Erie has many other things to offer. While you’re fishing, the sights and sounds of the lake are incredible. A beautiful sunrise will kickstart your day. Mix in some wildlife, the blue water, and some picturesque skylines, and you’re left with an unforgettable experience. Of course, don’t forget the sight of that big fish in the net and the sound it makes while flopping around in the back of the boat.

Capt. Dan will provide you with all the fishing gear you’ll need, and anything you catch will be cleaned and bagged after the trip. The only thing you’ll need to bring is a Pennsylvania fishing license with the Lake Erie combo stamp. For your own unforgettable Walleye experience, let the Rod Father show you what’s what!
