Captain Scott Green owns and operates Rodbender Fishing Charters in Sarasota Florida. He grew up in Iowa and fished many years in Canada with his father and twin brother. When he arrived in Sarasota in December of 1982, he started fishing Sarasota Bay. As he fished with his friends and neighbors they told him he should become a professional fishing guide. Well he did just that. The last 34 years Captain Scott has had the best fishing of his life in the Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico area. Now he loves showing visitors the thrill of saltwater fishing. Captain Scott loves to have kids on the boat; he always has fun when the kids are having fun. The look on a little girl or boys face when they bring that big fish in the boat and show it to you is priceless, but the look on your faces is priceless to him.

Captain Scott ,Rodbender experience was awsome!!
I'm a GranpIa working on a bucket list with my two grand sons , Rodbenders ,Captain Scott was a excellent experience 👌 very professional and courteous always right there to make sure your catching fish !

From the minute we were in the boat until we were done Captain Scott entertained us with good conversation and really good fishing. 4 of us caught 77 fish. What a fun day. We asked if he had another opening for Friday but he was already booked up. Captain Scott will be our choice next time we are here. GOD Bless!!
