Around here, the fishing is popular for Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Gag Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, and more if conditions are right. On the day of your trip, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. 

Capt. Lathan will bring you aboard a 42' Sport fishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. The crew will catch live bait for you before the trip.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show appreciation for their hard work. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Legacy Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must provide and wear their own USCG-approved life vests. You can't go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just be sure to avoid glass bottles.
