Your Fishing Charter

Barnegat Inlet has a fish with your name on it, so let eFISHnsea Sportfishing help you catch it in style and comfort. Captain Bill will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of angling experience and an amazingly capable Southport center console with a massive 10’6” beam.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Black Seabass, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Swordfish, or Striped Bass.

eFISHnsea Sportfishing welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, there is one on board. The Captain's daughter has been on the boat since she was 6 months old and has been offshore since 3! Snacks are always permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Capt. Bill runs a Southport that holds up to 6 anglers inshore and 4 anglers for tuna trips. This boat is the widest in its class which makes it extremely stable and spacious. Its 28’6” length will get you to the grounds fast! It has a brand new Garmin Electronics Suite, outriggers, all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience and comfort. Capt. Bill has the best Penn and Shimano rods and reels for you, along with lures and tackle from top companies like Sterling Tackle.

There will be a First Mate on board for tuna trips to help your fishing run smoothly. It’s customary to tip 20% to show your appreciation for putting in maximum effort to get the job done both before and after the trip. 

It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Pack light, but make sure you have your favorites so your day is enjoyable and we will do the rest!

On this trip we will be targeting New Jersey’s famous Stripers! Striped Bass can only be caught within 3 miles of shore. We will run up and down the beach to find the fish sometimes fishing right off the beach itself. Our primary method is to cast to or jig these fish as well as live bait but we will troll if thats what it takes!

This trip is perfect if you are looking to get out and bend a rod! The captain will let you know what’s biting and put you in the best position to catch as many fish as possible usually accounting for multiple species across multiple locations. This trip is perfect for kids or groups that are new to fishing. If there is a preferred species, we will do our best to target them based on the time of year and open fishing seasons. The goal is to catch as many fish as possible while putting smiles on faces!

Inshore Captain’s Choice

On this trip we will fish inshore reefs and shipwrecks that are loaded with large fluke! Depending on the time of year we will also fish the back bays for fluke depending on where the mass of fish are. Fluke migrate from the back bays (early season) out to the ocean and deeper wrecks (late season). Lets get out and find a true NJ doormat!

Inshore Bottom Fish - Fluke

On this trip we will fish inshore reefs and shipwrecks as well as offshore wrecks as weather allows that are loaded with black seabass! Our target will be jumbo black seabass. This trip will have your arms sore in the morning because it will be nonstop action with fish being caught left and right sometimes two at a time!

Inshore Bottom Fish - Seabass

On this trip, we will fish the inshore fishing spots up to 25 miles with an excellent chance to catch Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna. The inshore Tuna bite has been excellent the last few years so this trip offers excellent value to catch big fish not too far from the dock! We will troll, chunk bait, jig, and pop for these fish. This is typically a 1-1.5hr run from the dock and we will return around 2:30pm. Timing is always flexible!

Inshore Tuna (25Mi)

On this trip, we will fish the midshore fishing spots up to 65 miles with an excellent chance to catch Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi. We will troll, chunk bait, jig, and pop for these fish. This is typically a 1.5-2.5hr run from the dock and we will return around 2:30pm. Timing is always flexible! This is our most requested trip!

Midshore Tuna (65Mi)

On this trip, we will fish the offshore canyons and flats 60-90 miles offshore! We will have an excellent chance to catch Bigeye Tuna over 100lbs, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi. We will troll, chunk bait, jig, and pop for these fish. This is typically a 2.5-3.5hr run from the dock and we will return around 4:30pm. Timing is always flexible! This is the trip of a lifetime!
