Book your next trip with Hooked Adventures and find out what you're missing in Hoonah. Hooked Adventures has been operating in different ports and has been in Hoonah since 2013. All their guides are with years of experience in Alaska waters.

These waters are home to Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

Hooked Adventures welcomes kids aboard, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks! 

Capt. Hooked will bring you aboard a 30' Thunder Jet aluminum fishing boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will supply rods and reels for you.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The area we fish is very close and the wildlife is in same waters. Groups that like both book private charter and try to get halibut, bear, and whales all in one. The water is usually calm for those that have motion issues.
