Shoki Charters runs angling trips out of Sydney and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. John will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, and trolling, all to get you on that bite. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Marlin, Tuna, and Swordfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 50' Precision boat that can safely take up to 10 anglers. This boat features a toilet, AC, ice box, and a fighting chair. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can.

Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The price of a given trip doesn't include bait, so be sure to get in touch with the captain about what your options are prior to the trip. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Our five hour fishing trips are perfect for beginners and experienced 
customers. We target deep sea reef species such as Snapper, Kingfish
and Mahi Mahi without the commitment of a full day's charter,
with the opportunity to take a feed home as well as usually running into 
our migrating humpback whales of Sydney. Very popular choice with tourists.

5 Hour Trip

This 8-hour trip will put you on the trail of all the prized catches of the area. Black Marlin, Swordfish, and Yellowfin Tuna are the main targets, but who knows what else you could hook into. All tackle is provided, just remember to pack your drinks, snacks, and lunch.
