Your Fishing Charter

Enjoy an unforgettable fishing experience with Eyehooker Sportfishing on Lake Erie! Come to the Walleye capital of the world and fish side by side with a knowledgeable guide. Captain Billy has been a licensed fishing guide on these waters for over 20 years and loves to share his tricks. His son Blake has been working on the boat for 7 seasons and also has a USCG Masters License.  There are no hired captains and you can always count on going on a trip with Capt Blake or Billy. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasonal angler, there’s a spot for you on his boat. 

The boat is a custom 32’ Island Hopper that accommodates up to 6 guests. This vessel has a 12’ beam and it’s powered by a 600 HP Cummins engine. Besides modern navigational electronics, a private bathroom, and lots of seating space in the shade, the boat is also wheelchair accessible. Capt. Bill doesn’t spare anything to make sure his boat is equipped and well maintained.

All trips start at Anchors Away Marina in Marblehead and they are available from April till November. At the beginning of the season, you’ll visit the spots west of the Lake Erie Islands, while in the summer the best spots are in Northern Ohio and Southern Ontario waters. Towards the end of the season, you’ll go to Vermillion and Lorain area.

Besides Walleye, you can also catch Steelhead, Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch. Both drifting and trolling are an option, depending on your skills and preferences.

All fishing equipment is covered. You need to cover your fishing licenses and pack some snacks and drinks for the day.

This trip is perfect for the group that wants to fish the nearshore and enjoy an incredible Lake Erie Sunset.  We'll leave about an hour before the sun goes down, put our lines in the water and turn up the music.   Bring your refreshments and be prepared to have a great time on the water.  We're happy to accomodate special requests and start times to fit your needs.  This trip is priced for 4 passengers but you can upgrade for up to 6 for just $50 per additional person.   Tight Lines!!
