Your Fishing Charter

Make the most of your time in Puerto Vallarta and go fishing with Vallarta Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Enrique is prepared to put you on fish. 

These waters are known for Bonito, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Roosterfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed! 

You'll be fishing aboard a 36' Luhrs sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Enrique will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water and ice will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Spend a productive morning on the water on this 6-hour fishing adventure! You'll explore the Bay of Banderas in search of Mahi Mahi, Skipjack, Bonita, and massive Roosterfish. All of your gear is provided, as is bottled water. Snorkeling equipment for all 6 guests is provided if requested in advance.
