Your Fishing Charter

If you're ready to love fishing in Bay City, book a trip with Rock N Reel Charters. With Captain Scott at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Walleye, and more inhabit these waters if you come at the right time of year. For these fish, you're likely to troll using light tackle. 

Rock N Reel Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep 'em happy! 

You'll be dropping lines from a 30' Hydra-Sports sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all of the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. 

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. 

A few items to bring include sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
