Your Fishing Charter

We have customized our 29' Beachcraft open style aluminum boat to maximize comfort and functionality while we fish Salmon using trolling, mooching, jigging and casting rigs.  

Typically we can troll and cut-plug mooch 4 rods at the same time, while also casting and jigging with up to 4 additional rods.  This method allows us to put the maximum amount of hooks in the water and to fish the entire water column with maximum efficiency, you are sure to be impressed with how much action can be found by using this team effort.

Salmon Fishing on Vancouver Island is a cultural right of passage for us locals, after years of perfecting our methods and unique fishing styles it is an honour to share the accumulated wisdom with people that share an interest in chasing Canada's most respected sportfish in the waters around Vancouver Island.  

The challenge and beauty of fishing this pristine ocean captures our attention for entire lifetimes and we look forward to sharing this sensational part of our lifestyle with you any day of the week.

A fun way to explore the coastline wilderness and take home some of the finest dunguness crab and prawns in the world. 

This trip is for setting and retrieving crab and prawn traps out in the bays and local hotspots. We provide 2 crab traps and 4prawn traps and you can bring an additional 2crab traps and 4prawn traps for each additional person aboard who posseses a tidal fishing license.

3 Hour trip – Crabbing & Prawning

Our 3hour trips are ideal for serious salmon anglers who want to fish the peak activity windows on the water such as the night bite, first light bite and high slack tides.  

Its also a great option for anyone with a busy schedule that doesnt allow for a full day on the water.  Your 3hour charter can be arranged at any time of the day and we can accomodate up to 8people on the boat.

All anglers must possess a valid bc tidal angling license in order to fish, available online

3 Hour Trip

Cruise the shorelines encountering Eagles, Sea Lions, Whales and more while checking traps for our famous Dungeness Crabs and delicious Spot Prawns.  Drop a line into our thriving kelp forests and life filled reefs and get a chance at learning about and landing some of our areas abundant species of fish.  This is a great trip for families and people that would like a well rounded introduction to our unique ocean waters.
Fishing Licenses are required for anyone that would like to harvest their own seafood

Eco Tour/Fishing Trip

A 5hour charter allows us to fish one full slack tide and find enough action to create a memorable experience on the water.  We will teach you our local tactics and techniques and provide a comfortable and educational trip for everyone from novices to seasoned pros

Booking the boat to yourselves is the best way to guaruntee that your experience is tailored to meet your specific ambitions.  We can accomodate up to 8 anglers aboard with plenty of seating for all.
All anglers must have tidal angling license

5 Hour Trip

Get the full experience by booking the boat to yourselves for the whole day, you will get 8 hours of privately booked boat time and can use it how you wish throughout the day.  Some people prefer to fish the full 8hours in a row and others like to fish the morning bite and take a lunch break before they head back out for the night bite, it is completely up to you to decide how you would like your day to look and we are very well equipt to accomodate most ideas.
