If you're going to cast a line around Folly Beach, look no further than Drumroll Fishing Charters Folly. Your guide for the day is Captain Jeffery Pierce, which means you'll tap into a lifetime of local fishing experience. Come fish with the guy who has lived here his entire life.

Fishing around Folly Beach you have the opportunity to catch Red Drum, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Speckled Sea Trout, Sharks, and a whole lot more. Crabbing or Shrimping opportunities are possible too. Some folks may also want to cruise through the rivers and see the dolphin around Morris Island Lighthouse; go see the sights of Charleston Harbor; or explore the beaches and sandbars accessible by boat to find sea shells, fossils, and sharks' teeth which we can do that also.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? All ages are absolutely welcome from 1 to 100+. Family time on the boat can be some of the best memories made. Don't worry if it's your first time fishing or if you're a well-experienced long-time fisherman, Captain Jeffery has you covered. 

You'll be casting lines from "Drumroll", a 22' center console fishing vessel with a capacity for 5 passengers plus the captain. While targeting fish around Folly you will be provided with spinning gear of adequate size to catch the fish along with live bait, cut bait, and artificial lures.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can come right on over and jump aboard without any hassle! When choosing to keep fish or just have a fun day catching and releasing, please note that most of these fish have size limits for keeping and quantity limits as well. Your captain will help you follow regulations and recommend the tastiest to keep if chosen.

When jumping onboard it's best to carry a hat, sunglasses, sunblock lotion (non-aerosol), and a few snacks. The boat's cooler has fresh ice with bottled water for you but your welcome to bring  ANY preferred beverages.

Let's get you crabbing or shrimping. Keep your catch or release and just have fun.
-Crabbing trips includes dropping crab handlines in the water and dipping them up with a net. Plus using a larger crab pot or two that is set out prior to the trip.
-Shrimp trips you are able to cast a net or use drop nets to catch shrimp.
Come enjoy Folly's wildlife and natural beauty with this relaxing daytime experience.

4 Hour Sunrise "Shark Fishing"

Let's go fish Folly Beach's backwaters (rivers,creeks,inlet) for Red Drum, Flounder, Speckled Sea Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Bonnethead Shark, and more. We will use a large variety of natural bait mostly. A 4 hour charter is considered fishing half a day. If your looking for something specific this is the start. The 4 hour inshore trip is for any age or skill level.

Here is the 4 hour premer inshore trip. This trip give you enough time on the water to catch fish that are biting. Let me guide the day on what we catch and how we do it. Catch and Release or Catch and Harvest it's up to you just let me know. There are lots of different fish in our waters so let's go make some memories.

4 Hour "Captain's Perferred" Trip

Let's spend the afternoon fishing for all the fish. This is an extended trip to catch a mix of fish. Bring your lunch and favorite beverage. Let's go toss out a line so we can catch catch catch.

5 Hour *Inshore* Trip (PM)

This trip is a earlier morning start to have that morning bite and the help us adapt with days conditions. Most mornings the winds are lighter and the sun is not as heated creating a good opportunity for fish. It's the fishermen's special so we will have all types of fishing from maybe topwater or artificial. To casting the bait net for extra live bait for a float/bobber/cork rod. Plus my favorite tactic bottom fishing along the shore line. Additionally time can be added. Start time varies w/ sunrise.

5 Hour *Fisherman's Special*

The 6 hour trip is the one to go on for ample time on the water. We fish Folly Beach's backwaters for Red Drum, Flounder, Speckled Sea Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Bonnethead Shark and more. Somedays we may even venture out to the Jetties. This is a great trip for any skill level. Carry a lunch and your favorite drink or we can stop and grab a bite between spots.

6 Hour *Inshore* Trip (AM)

Let's go target big red drum with natural baits on the bottom then go toss some soft plastics for sea trout and flounder. This month that's the general targets and tactics. Other fish are regularly caught on this kinda trip too but we HOPE for the targeted species. This is mostly catch and release kind of trip.

October Special 5 Hour

This trip we target only big game fish. Bull red drum, Tarpon, Mackerel, Jacks, Cobia & Sharks. During this trip we will fish the inlet area of Folly Beach or Charleston Jetties. It can be rougher in these areas due to it's the ocean but know we try to fish where it's most comfortable. Targeted fish are seasonal. Remember we sacrifice a steady bite like the regular inshore trip looking for trophy size fish but the reward can be worth it. Now let's GO!   ***start time may vary with sunrise***

5 Hour *Big Game* Trip (AM)

Please message me before booking so we can make this trip happen for you. I am offering a custom fishing experience to suit what you are looking to do. Let me know what you are thinking and I can do my best to make it happen. This is an all day booking experience. Things that are possible but not limited to. Fishing Charleston, only target Red Drum, Exclusively Tarpon fish, Fish half day/ cruise half day, shark tooth hunt and fish, Exclusively troll all day (inshore/inlet/nearshore), or catch and cook.
