Maine Fly Guide invites you to visit the Androscoggin river in Maine. Your guide will be Captain Brandon Bichrest, a seasoned angler who’s spent his whole life fishing the river and who can take you to its best spots. The captain will do his best to introduce you to the river’s beauty and to make your trip as productive as possible. Hop aboard and spend a lovely day fishing, spin casting or fly fishing!

Your adventure takes place on a 18’ stealthcraft Power drift jet boat, It can accommodate up to 3 anglers and will safely take you to Androscoggin’s best fishing spots. Also, the boat is kid-friendly, meaning you can bring your young ones and enjoy a lovely family day on the river.

You and the captain will target Smallmouth Bass. Using light tackle, you can spin fish or  fly fish. 
If you want to keep a fish, be sure to inform the captain before the trip. 

Captain Brandon will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, fly fishing gear. bring food ir snacks before you step aboard and also make sure to have valid fishing licenses.

We will use my 18’ Stealthcraft power drifter to access the best areas of the river, we will drift down river and fly cast or spin cast for landlocked Salmon, Rainbow trout, Brook trout, Brown Trout, Lake trout, Splake (half brook trout-half lake trout), and Smallmouth Bass. 
We have two sections of river to choose from depending on the conditions.

Kennebec river (Shad + Stripers)

Four hour Androscoggin river trip, this is the trip for you if you are staying in Portland or any of coastal maine, or the lewiston Auburn area, we can use one of several boat launches depending on wich is closest to where you are, i know the whole river very well! 
We will meet at the boat launch and motor to the area we will for for trip it normally takes 10-15 minutes at most to get yo our fishing area, we will be able to access areas with my jet boat the most others can not.

4hr Androscoggin River (Smb + Pike)

If you are staying in Portland or along coastal maine, or the Lewiston Auburn area this is the trip for you, there is seveal access points I can meet you at different sections of the river depending on where yoi are staying, I know the whole river very well! 
We will meet at one of the boat launches and motor up the shallow river through the rapids to the area we will fish all day, or we can move around and see many areas of the river.
