Running angling trips out of Bolivar Peninsula, Reel Bolivar Fishing Guide invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Mark aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and popping. You're looking at 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Snapper, and Tripletail, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your adventure begins on board a 25' Haynie boat that can fit a maximum of 5 anglers. The boat is fitted with a wireless trolling motor. R
ods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price of your trip. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!

The price of a given trip doesn't include bait, so be sure to get in touch with the captain about what your options are prior to the trip. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so. ( i only use bait a couple months out of the year . Usually in the heart of summer. If we need it ill let you know)

We do not sit and fish dead bait on bottom. We will be casting the entire time. Never casted a reel? No problem as long as you are willing to listen and try. You will be standing and fishing most of the time. Its like salt water bass fishing.
