Your Fishing Charter

With years of experience between visiting Steinhatchee and now living in the area, Captain Kyle is ready to help you limit out on scallops all season!

Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Cobia, Scallop, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Snook, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Black Seabass, and whatever else takes the bait.

Captain Kyle will bring you aboard a 23' Shoalwater bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers for scalloping and fishing trips. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons.  You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

An underwater hunt for scallops out of Steinhatchee followed by hanging out at "Grassy" (the local sandbar) for a couple of hours. All needed equipment including snorkels, masks, fins, and catch bags are provided.


Scalloping: 6 Hours (6 People Max)

A six hour day with a combination fishing trip on Captain Kyle's Shoalwater, targeting inshore species like Redfish & Sea Trout in Steinhatchee and the surrounding areas followed by snorkeling for Scallops for the remainder of the trip.
