Looking to cast a line in Marathon? Hennessy Sportfishing is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Randy King, which allows you to benefit from years of experience. 

These waters are home to Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, Black Grouper, and more with any luck.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip! 

Your adventure begins aboard a 34' Ventura center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

A very popular trip. We generally focus on either the reef or FL Bay depending on wind and sea conditions for comfort and client expectation. This is generally a try and fill the box with dinner in 4 hours sort of trip. We can taylor it some to your specific preferences. We run up to 10 miles on the Oceanside and up to 12 on the bayside for the 4 hour trip.

This trip is designed as an introduction to fishing—great for beginners, kids, and families looking to learn the basics, catch a few fish, and enjoy time on the water. Experience a dynamic day on the water with our Reef and Wreck Fishing trip—venturing on the ocean side when the bite is hot and weather conditions allow. We'll target a wide variety of prized species, including Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail, Amberjack, Kingfish, Cero Mackerel, Sailfish, Tuna, Cubera Snapper, Black Grouper, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi.

If ocean conditions are rough, no worries—your adventure continues in the sheltered waters near the 7-Mile Bridge or in the Gulf targeting additional species.

6 Hour Trip – Reef/Wreck/Gulf

Join us for an unforgettable offshore adventure targeting Tuna and Mahi Mahi, with exciting opportunities to reel in Wahoo and Sailfish when in season. These trips are perfect for anglers seeking action-packed days on the water and the thrill of big game fishing.  

Please note: An additional fuel surcharge applies for offshore trips.

6 Hour Trip – Offshore

This is generally an offshore trip. This can include deep dropping in the summer and a run to the famous Marathon humps for blackfin tuna and mahi mahi.  This can also be combo of inshore and offshore.

8 Hour Trip

This is a trip for hardcore anglers wanting to hit the humps on the Oceanside for tunas and run & gun for mahis. We can deep drop with electric reels or run to the deep wrecks and towers in the gulf. 10 hours equals plenty of options
