Make an adventure out of your next trip in St. Joseph and go fishing with St Joe Angler. Captain Jon will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from their angling experience. 

Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Carp, Freshwater Drum, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more can be found in these waters, depending on the time of year.

Trips can be conventional or fly but the captain does specialize in fly fishing, specifically introducing new anglers to the sport. Ask about customizable classes to cover everything you need to know to come as a beginner and leave with confidence to get on the water!

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip! 

Your boat for the day is a 16' ClackaCraft drift boat with capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

Enjoy a half day of fishing on the Saint Joe or other local tributaries.  Species type will vary depending on the time of year but can range from warmwater species like bass and pike to cold-water species like trout and salmon.  Meals are not included but can be added if desired.

This half day trip is for one or two clients and all gear is provided. Fishing license and gratuities are not included.
