Your Fishing Charter

Choose Nomad Fishing Charters for nearshore and offshore sport fishing in Miami, Florida. Captain Orlando ‘Orly’ Muniz has spent more than 30 years developing his fishing knowledge. He is dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience that will keep his customers coming back for more!

Nomad is a custom-built 28’ Whitewater Open fisherman, powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki 4 stroke engines. This vessel boasts a 250-gallon fuel tank, two live bait wells, and a selection of classic fishing electronics by Garmin and Clariom. With a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, this boat will take you to the fishing grounds in no time. Up to four passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride across the waves.

The waters of the Atlantic Ocean are abundant with some of the world’s most popular big game species, such as Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, and a variety of reef fish. Trips with Capt. Orly give you a chance to bottom fish near numerous wrecks and reefs in addition to trolling and kite fishing offshore. 

Capt. Orly also offers a number of specialty trips, including reef fishing for beginners, Mahi Mahi fishing, and a Sailfish-Tarpon combo trip. Fishing for Mahi Mahi is an opportunity to land one of the tastiest game fish in the sea. On the other hand, pursuing Tarpon and Sailfish in one day is a unique experience—one that will earn you the bragging rights to two of Florida’s most prestigious prizes!

Nomad Fishing Charters include a fishing license and top-of-the-line gear, featuring notable brands such as Daiwa, Shimano, and Shakespeare, all spooled with premium line and terminal tackle. If you decide to keep the fish you catch, Capt. Orly will be happy to clean and bag it for you, just remember that it's customary to tip between 15% and 20% of the charter price for the captain's effort.

Inshore fishing is a great choice for children, beginners, and anyone that prefers to fish calmer waters. On these trips we target a variety of species such as snapper, jacks, barracuda, sharks, etc. Most fish are caught and released.

Afternoon tuna fishing can be extremely hot during the fall and early winter. The key to this fishery is lots and lots of live bait. The bait also doubles as live chum that is used to trigger the action.

Blackfin Tuna - Afternoon

On this trip, you can fish the reefs and wrecks for Snapper, Grouper, Jack, and other reef fish or target big game species such as Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Sailfish. A fishing license and top-of-the-line gear are provided. Starting time is flexible depending on the season.

Half Day - Offshore/Reef/Wreck (PM)

More time on the water means you can catch a lot more fish! On this 6-hour trip, you can hit the wrecks and reefs for Snapper, Grouper, Jack, and Sharks, or chase after prizes such as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Sailfish. A fishing license and gear are provided.

3/4 Day - Offshore /Reef/Wreck

Come spend the day fishing off the coast of Miami for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sharks, Snapper, Grouper, and more. Top-of-the-line gear and a fishing license are provided.
