Nomad is a custom-built 28’ Whitewater Open fisherman, powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki 4 stroke engines. This vessel boasts a 250-gallon fuel tank, two live bait wells, and a selection of classic fishing electronics by Garmin and Clariom. With a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, this boat will take you to the fishing grounds in no time. Up to four passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride across the waves.

The waters of the Atlantic Ocean are abundant with some of the world’s most popular big game species, such as Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, and a variety of reef fish. Trips with Capt. Orly give you a chance to bottom fish near numerous wrecks and reefs in addition to trolling and kite fishing offshore.

Capt. Orly also offers a number of specialty trips, including reef fishing for beginners, Mahi Mahi fishing, and a Sailfish-Tarpon combo trip. Fishing for Mahi Mahi is an opportunity to land one of the tastiest game fish in the sea. On the other hand, pursuing Tarpon and Sailfish in one day is a unique experience—one that will earn you the bragging rights to two of Florida’s most prestigious prizes!

Nomad Fishing Charters include a fishing license and top-of-the-line gear, featuring notable brands such as Daiwa, Shimano, and Shakespeare, all spooled with premium line and terminal tackle. If you decide to keep the fish you catch, Capt. Orly will be happy to clean and bag it for you, just remember that it's customary to tip between 15% and 20% of the charter price for the captain's effort.

Great day with Captain Danny

My 3 sons and I had a terrific outing with Captain Danny. The communication before our trip was fantastic, with Captain Orly answering questions about the weather, what to bring and what to wear, and whether I could Venmo tips (I could!). Then when the time came for the outing, Danny was great. He knew several places to go, to try different lures and catch different types of fish. We caught something at pretty much every stop and everybody got fish. My only regret was that we couldn’t bring them home (nowhere to cook them at our hotel, and we were flying home the next day). Highly recommend this trip!

Orlando was knowledgeable, enjoyable, and easy to enjoy. To be clear, my mission for the day was to have an experience my children would enjoy. I wanted fish in the boat, and it didn’t matter the size. He was great! He kept my kids happy by endlessly putting bait on their hooks!!! We caught five mackerel and three snappers. For the adults, he was an excellent conversationalist. An enjoyable experience.

We caught mahi and barracuda

Orly was very nice and friendly. He had good knowledge about where to go and what to use to catch our preferred target species. We caught some nice mahi mahi, a barracuda and lots of reef fish on our trip. He even gave us a little extra time to make sure the kids fished their little hearts out. He also filleted and cleaned our catches for us and bagged them with some ice. We had a great time and got some great photos!

Fishing-obsessed kids had a blast!

Captain Art made this a great day for my two kids (9 and 7) and I. Our goal was to experience a new type of fishing (coming from Virginia where my kids are used to fishing lakes and ponds for bass, catfish, etc) and Capt Art delivered immediately. We found a spot that was rapid-fire fish caught by the kids for hours, including all new species to us: mangrove snapper, porkfish, grunt and Bermuda chub. Capt Art helped the kids when they needed help, while gauging their fishing skills well and giving them chances to learn. I highly recommend Capt Art and Nomad Fishing Charters!

Everything was fantastic. Caught a bunch of fish, capt is super knowledgeable a d so fun to fish with, and boat was new, clean, safe, and perfect for fishing. Would be great with kids too. Highly recommended.
