Nomad is a custom-built 28' Whitewater Open fisherman, powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki 4 stroke engines. This vessel boasts a 250-gallon fuel tank, two live bait wells, and a selection of classic fishing electronics by Garmin and Clariom. With a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, this boat will take you to the fishing grounds in no time. Up to four passengers can enjoy a comfortable ride across the waves.

The waters of the Atlantic Ocean are abundant with some of the world's most popular big game species, such as Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sharks, and a variety of reef fish. Trips with Capt. Orly give you a chance to bottom fish near numerous wrecks and reefs in addition to trolling and kite fishing offshore.

Capt. Orly also offers a number of specialty trips, including reef fishing for beginners, Mahi Mahi fishing, and a Sailfish-Tarpon combo trip. Nomad Fishing Charters include a fishing license and top-of-the-line gear, featuring notable brands such as Daiwa, Shimano, and Shakespeare, all spooled with premium line and terminal tackle. If you decide to keep the fish you catch, Capt. Orly will be happy to clean and bag it for you, just remember that it's customary to tip between 15% and 20% of the charter price for the captain's effort.

Windy time but we tried
3/4 Day - Offshore/Reef/Wreck on April 13, 20263 adults

We were in town for only a few days, the weather was very windy all week, we were supposed to go fishing Monday, postponed for 1 more day tried tues. Was still 17mph winds with 30 mph gust. But we said " it is what it is ". Captain Arturo tried his best to find us some big tarpon or permit, tried just about every bait, even poked us out into the rough waves for bit. Until we finally got to a calmer side of key Biscayne and we just fished a few wrecks and caught some decent snapper, the biggest puffer I've ever seen and a nice grouper. We gave it the old college try and had a great time. You really couldn't ask him to try any harder. In the end it was a bit rough but we still had a great trip. Highly recommend these guys.

Mangrove Snapper
Black Grouper

Best Fishing Experience You Could Book
Half Day – Offshore/Reef/Wreck on February 7, 20263 adults

Thanks to our captain, Arty for the best possible experience fishing in Miami!! He was extremely helpful and hands-on, highly knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. We said we wanted action, and Arty went above and beyond to ensure we got that! Bonus is that he is hilarious and kind. We have charter experiences, and all agreed on the fact that this was one of the best charters we’ve done. Highly recommend and we’ll always book with Orlando and Arty going forward. Thank you again!!!

Great day with Captain Danny
Half Day – Offshore/Reef/Wreck - 1:00 PM on January 2, 20264 adults

My 3 sons and I had a terrific outing with Captain Danny. The communication before our trip was fantastic, with Captain Orly answering questions about the weather, what to bring and what to wear, and whether I could Venmo tips (I could!). Then when the time came for the outing, Danny was great. He knew several places to go, to try different lures and catch different types of fish. We caught something at pretty much every stop and everybody got fish. My only regret was that we couldn’t bring them home (nowhere to cook them at our hotel, and we were flying home the next day). Highly recommend this trip!

10/10 Experience
3/4 Day - Offshore/Reef/Wreck on April 8, 20262 adults

What a great first experience! It can feel daunting if youve never fished before - weather, attire, schedule, equipment, etc. Weather was mildly a gamble, but endedout being pleasant. It’s evident this crew comes with decades of experience. VERY hard working captain who works with all different levels of experience and is very patient. They also filet the fish we caught. Looking forward to booking another trip in the future.

Captain Orlando 'Orly' Muniz has been drawn to the ocean ever since he was a kid. Growing up in the Miami area, he had plenty of opportunities to develop and pursue his passion for fishing.
