Make the most of your time in Minneapolis and go fishing with Old School Fishing Guide Service. Your guide for the day is Captain Dave, which means you'll tap into their knowledge and experience. He may be old school but uses the latest and best techniques and presentations 

These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Muskellunge (Musky), Northern Pike, Sunfish, Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. 

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue! 

You'll be dropping lines from a 19' Lund aluminum fishing boat with room for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
