If you're ready to have fun fishing in Sooke, look no further than Sea Leggs Fishing Adventures. With 14 years of professional guiding experience around Vancouver Island, you’re in expert hands.

These waters are known for Pink Salmon, Lingcod, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.
For these species, you're likely to troll using light tackle. You'll even drop crab traps on the way out for a chance to take home some delicious Dungeness crab!

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! 

Capt. Jesse welcomes you aboard a 23' Grady-White sportfishing boat with room for 5 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
