Red Snarpon Charters Inc. is located in Goodland and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Capt. Jonathan is a Marco Island local who grew up fishing the waters around the area for the last 25 years. Having recently transitioned from the restaurant industry to a full-time guide, he’s eager to share his huge passion for fishing with you and help you have a fun trip. The captain also loves introducing anglers of all ages to fishing, especially kids.

Capt. Jonathan will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Jack Crevalle, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and spinning.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 22' Pathfinder 2200 V boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box and a wireless trolling motor.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

This trip is perfect for those who just want to drop a line and catch something. This trip is perfect for people with young kids that are looking for a shorter trip. I dont recommend this trip for those trying to catch a specific species or bring home a bunch of fish. This is more of a fun on the water trip. Trip time is subject to change if I dont have a morning trip trip may start earlier, if I only have half day morning may start around 12. Time will be confirmed the day before.

Fun Fishing 3hr (Read description)

This is for the family that wants a to get out on the water, but not everyone wants to fish the whole time. We will split the day up fishing, shelling, looking for dolphins. Experience what the waters around Marco Island have to offer all  in one trip. You can decide how long we do each activity, or pic and choose. On the 4 hr version of this trip we dont target any specific fish just go out and try to catch whatever is biting.

Family Fun Fish, Shell, Dolphin - 7:30 AM

This trip is for the people who are just looking to get out on the water and catch some fish and enjoy some time on the water. All ages and experience levels welcome. During this trip our goal is just to catch. We are not targeting specific species just whatever is biting at the time. You can always make a request and the captain will do everything in his power to make it happen, however this trip is really more about getting out and having fun rather than targeting specific species.

Family Fun Fishing 4hr

This is a good trip for people who just want to get out and do a little fishing. You can target most species in a short time frame, however, you're somewhat limited on where you can go due to the time limit. Departure is between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m or in the afternoon, depending on what the captain has available.

Half Day Trip Morning

Family Fun Fish, Shell, Dolphin

Family Fun Fishing 4hr - 12:30 PM

Half day trips we stay close to the area we start so we can maximize the amount of time we are fishing.

Half day Afternoon

Looking for a little extra time on the water this trip is for you. Its a bit longer than the standard 4 hr without going all the watbto a 3/4 day.

Afternoon 5hr

Same as the half day trip with 2 extra hours. This allows you and the captain to go a little farther and also gives you an advantage of being out through more of the tide. Even if fishing isn't perfect right away, it will get better and you'll have enough time. The captain recommends this trip to most all anglers, from beginner to advanced. You leave early between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

3/4 Day Trip

This is for the more advanced angler, or maybe the person who wants to go do a little fishing in the morning and then hit the beach in the afternoon. Make sure to bring plenty of drinks and food as you'll be out all day. You leave between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Full Day Trip

This is for the family that wants a full day on the water, but not everyone wants to fish the whole day. We will split the day up fishing, shelling, looking for dolphins. Experience what the waters around Marco Island have to offer all  in one trip. You can choose how long we do each activity or pick and choose what you would like to do.
