Bait House Charters is a fishing charter based in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Join Captain Brad and travel up to 100 miles out to explore one of the best bottom fishing locations around. He will make sure to provide you with a tailored experience, regardless of whether you are a veteran angler or just getting your feet wet. If you prefer fly fishing, Captain Brad will be able to accommodate your needs.

How far you go out will vary depending on what you want to catch and how long you want to stay. Some of the fish species you can expect to encounter are Groupers, Snappers, Amberjack, Kingfish, as well as other pelagic species. Captain Brad also specializes in catching Hogfish, one of the most delicious fish out there. There is also a shark fishing package for any who would like to try their hand at hunting for Hammerheads, Bull Sharks, and others.

His boat is a 33’ Dusky center console boat. It is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines and can develop a speed of up to 38 knots. The boat is equipped with all the necessary USCG equipment and navigational equipment such as GPS and a fishfinder device. It also has two large coolers to store caught fish as well as any drinks you might decide to bring. This is a very versatile boat that can handle any sort of offshore trip, as well as get you to the action quickly.

Captain Brad will provide you with all the necessary gear and bait, and the first mate will clean and fillet any catch caught once you’re back onshore. Gratuity for the first mate of around 15-20% is expected and appreciated. Make sure to bring polarised sunglasses as well as any drinks or snacks if you like.

This trip is for offshore fishing for Grouper, Snapper, Grunt, Shark, Hogfish, and other species. You will depart from the Bait House on Clearwater Beach.

4 Hour Trip

6 Hour Trip – Tarpon

This trip includes offshore fishing some 20-30 miles out, so expect to encounter Sharks, Hogfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjacks, Groupers, Snappers, and other species. Bait, tackle, and gear are included, so don't forget your polarized sunglasses.

3/4 Day Trip

Depending on the time of year, this trip targets different shark types, including Hammerheads, Black Tips, Bull Sharks, and Tiger Sharks. Gear and fishing licenses are included.

5 Hour Trip – Shark

5 Hour Trip – Shark - 1:00 PM

Those wanting to spend a day out on the water should look no further. This trip will take you 20-50 miles out to hopefully catch some Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Groupers, Snappers, Grunts, Sharks, Hogfish, and other species besides. Captain Brad will provide all the necessary licenses and gear so you can fish in peace.

Full Day Trip

Available only during the Federal Red Snapper season, this trip will take you offshore to catch your share of some of the most delicious fish out there. The dates are limited and fill up quickly so don't miss your opportunity to bring some top shelf Snapper home!

8 hr for Red Snapper

A full day just doesn't cut it? Captain Brad's got you covered. Depending on your wants and needs, you can either go further out or simply spend more time fishing. You will be fishing for Snappers, Groupers, Mahi Mahi, Amberjacks,Red snapper, in season and other species. Fishing licenses are included but don't forget to bring a pair of polarised sunglasses.
