Reel Release offers sport fishing out of Virginia Beach, VA. Their number one goal is customer service, and they promise to provide the best fishing experience possible. Cruising out of Lynnhaven Inlet, Captain Robbie will take you fishing the Chesapeake Bay and wrecks up to 40 miles offshore. Whether you want to get a boatload of big Redfish and Cobia or crush it on Seabass and Flounder, a great catch is guaranteed. 

You will go out aboard a 30' Privateer which can take you to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. It comes powered by a 380 HP Caterpillar engine and is well-prepared for the current bite. Perfect for accommodating up to 6 anglers, the vessel is fully rigged with the latest navigational electronics and safety equipment, as well as a live well loaded with bait and outriggers. The boat is perfect for chasing the fish in the bays, as well as up to 40 miles offshore.

Choose between exploring the Chesapeake Bay, looking for Cobia, Bluefish, fat Red Drum, Tog, Shark, Spadefish, and Flounder, or heading out to the ocean to fish the wrecks for Seabass. Captain Robbie can also take you targeting Yellowfin Tuna, Tilefish, Spotted Seatrout, Blue Marlin, and even Shark. 

All trips come with everything you need to make an outstanding catch possible. You will be provided with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. You won’t have to worry about getting a license, Captain Robbie's got you covered. All you need to bring is your favorite food, drinks, and the desire to catch fish!

Perfect way to spend the afternoon with the family or friends. Watch the sunset over the chesapeake bay and get to see the groups of dolphins play. One of the best ways to unwind and enjoy the afternoon! We will be trolling for spanish mackerel and blue fish as well.

This is a 4-hour trip for 6 guests, fishing in the bay. You'll be fishing for Cobia, Red Drum, Bluefish, Tog, Shark, Flounder, and Spadefish.

4 Hour Trip (AM)

You'll be leaving the dock at 1 p.m. and return by 5 p.m. Your main target species are Flounder, Cobia, Spades, Red Drum, Back Drum, and Spanish Mackerel.

Half Day Trip (PM)

6hr inshore

Heading out of Cape Charles Va to target trophy rockfish. The average size we catch is 40-60 pounds and 40-55in. These are a great fight and a trophy fish that you will only catch around here.

Trophy Rock fishing trip

This is an 8-hour trip for 6 guests, fishing in the bay and ocean for Cobia & Red Drum. This is going after trophy fish with the opportunity to land a fish of a life time!

Prime Time cobia & red drum

If your looking to catch a ton of fish and some of the tastest ones this is the trip to book!!! Come fishing on some nearshore shipwrecks and have a blast catching fish non stop! You wont be disappointedh! We primarily catch flounder, seabass, spade fish, togs, triggers, amberjacks, cobia, and cod.
