We spend the night 30-50 miles offshore at the oil rigs, fishing mainly for Tuna and other pelagic species. The oil rigs are lit up at night, attracting bait fish from the surrounding area. These trips aren’t as common as our day trips but they are very interesting and fun. In this trip, we are able to catch the morning bite and the evening bite. Fuel is not included and costs around $800-$1000 extra.
