Captain Nathan Fodness didn't start out as most captains did, living on the sea. Instead, he grew up inland and only discovered his extreme passion for fishing in his early 20's. As he continued fishing more and more, he discovered he would do this professionally and decided to follow his dream. Capt. Nathan's clients are mostly families with children and he's very excited about teaching kids the joys of angling every time they come on board his charter.

Fishing with Nathan
We had a great time and caught 18 fish during our 8 hour trip. All trout and one salmon. Only negative I can say is that they didn't respond to any of my messages before trip so we though we would be fishing for Muskies. However the weather was too cold and they didn't even attempt muskies. We are novices so knowing this ahead of time would have been nice so we wouldn't have gotten our hopes up for muskie. Great time though and would definitely book again.

Full day trip
We had a blast on the boat with Captain Nathan. Boat was clean and well equipped. Weather and water was perfect. We were able to listen to our favorite radio station. The fishing was good for coho salmon and lake trout. We plan to make this annual event & hope to see him in lake of the woods at one of his ice houses
