Your Fishing Charter

If you are looking for a great trip that offers flexibility and comfort, then Kamryn Dawson Charters is the perfect match for you. Captain TJ Holston has over 25 years of experience running charters, so he is confident in his ability to make this a trip of a lifetime with his expert crew. 

You will spend your trip on a huge 48’ Uniflite boat. There is so much space on this boat that whether you choose the shorter trip or the overnight trip you’ll be completely comfortable. She has twin 500 HP Cummins engines – coupled with Capt. TJ’s great knowledge of the area, you will have your lines in the water in no time.

State of the art GPS and Navigational equipment will get you to the fish pronto. They even have Radar for night vision. She boasts a complete galley, where food preparation can be done. There is plenty of space both inside and outside. Anytime you need a rest, you can just pop inside to relax in front of the TV or even have a nap on the longer trips. 

These trips offer great flexibility for people of all skill levels. You can fish for a few hours or up to 12 hours on the overnight trips. If you want to snorkel, then that is perfectly fine too on selected trips.  Masks are always on board. Capt. TJ wants to make sure you have the most amazing time by customizing your trip to your needs – let him know before the trip what you would most like to do, and he will try to accommodate you.

You will target a range of species on various trips, including White Sea Bass, Calico Bass, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Barracuda, Yellowtail and more. 

Our expert fillet service and packaging is freezer ready once you're  home. Our deckhands have experience in So Cal waters. 
We will provide the basic required gear and frozen bait you will be using. LIVE BAIT ON ALL HALFDAY TRIPS IS AN EXTRA COST TO CUSTOMER. You just need to grab your sunscreen and fishing license.

5 Hour Trip – Weekend (AM)

This trip is great for people that want to get some fishing experience without waking up at the crack of dawn. You will head our around 3 to 5 miles from the dock, as will target Seabass, Barracuda, and Yellowfin Tuna. All snacks and drinks are included.

5 Hour Trip – Mon to Thu (PM)

The crew's 8-hour trip is a great way to spend your day.  Plenty of time to explore the local spots from Long Beach to PV. Trips starts at 7:00 a.m. Bring your lunch and drinks and the crew takes care of the rest.

3/4 Day 8 Hour Trip – Local Waters

3/4 8 Hour Trip – Catalina Island

This trip will take you up to 25 miles offshore. You will target a range of species, including Yellowfin Tuna, Seabass, and Barracuda. Snacks and drinks are included, so you just have to bring along yourself and plenty of sunscreen.

10 Hour Local Trip – Weekday

We will take you to the local hot spots off the coast of Palos Verdes to Huntington Beach. We will fish for a variety of local fish including Seabass, Sculpin, Rockfish, Sheepshead, and many more. We leave at 6:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. It is a full day of productive fishing, so bring your friends and have a great day on the water.

10 Hour Trip–Local Weekend Fishing

This trip is a Catalina Island trip that may include the backside of the island.   All fishing is based on weather conditions and what is biting.

A 10-hour fishing trip from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

10 Hour Trip – Catalina Weekend

A full-day trip to Santa Barbara Island. This island is less fished and a better option for a full-day trip.
