Your Fishing Charter

If you’re itching for some sea spray in your face as you go after the trophy fish of a lifetime, this charter is right up your alley. Tighten Up Charters is serious about providing an excellent fishing adventure for their clients and they’ll work hard to make it happen.

The boat used is a 27’ Onslow Bay center console, powered by twin Mercury engines delivering 350 HP each. The boat is equipped with advanced electronics and navigation, making sure you know where the fish is at. It also has outriggers, a live bait well, and a toilet, to ensure you don’t have to worry about anything but bagging that keeper.

The species targeted are varied, with Striped Bass and Bluefish, along with all sorts of Sharks, such as Blue Sharks, Mako Sharks, Threshers, and others. The star of the fishing menu is the Bluefin Tuna, anglers come from all over the world to fish it here. The preferred way of going after the Bluefin Tuna is a run-and-gun method, where you storm in at 50 miles per hour and start getting lines in as quick as possible.

Captain Matt Perachio has over two decades of fishing experience the surrounding waters and he’s happy to share his vast knowledge with his customers. Children are encouraged to come aboard and learn how to set the hook, rig it and reel it in, no hand-holding here. Tuna over 73’’ stay with the boat, according to federal regulations, the captain offers a third of its market value in return. Cleaning your catch is included in the trip price. The boat is disabled accessible and Tighten Up Charters invite all anglers to come aboard!

If you're looking for a fun trip on the wonderful waters of Massachusetts, this trip is perfect for you! You'll be targeting Striped Bass and Bluefish in the crystal clear water of the Outer Cape. We’ll provide all the necessary equipment and liscenses for everyone on board. This is our most popular trip. We also offer late morning or afternoon trips. Half Day – Striped Bass and Blues

Come target some of the best fluke fishing in the country. The waters south of the Cape are known for producing giant summer flounder—and have quickly become a go-to destination for anglers chasing trophy-class fish with true record potential.

Full Day Trip – Fluke

This action-packed trip is a favorite among serious anglers. It runs 8–10 hours, depending on how hot the bite is. We’ll start by catching fresh bait, then head out and set the chum slick. That’s when the real fun begins—targeting Thresher, Mako, Blue, and Porbeagle sharks. We might even get the chance to watch a shark grab the bait boatside, up close and personal.

Full Day - Sharks (MAX 4)

If you’re after a fishing experience that’ll stay with you, a fast-paced, high-adrenaline bluefin tuna trip is what your after. We blast out at 50+ mph and get lines in fast, chasing giants that don’t sit still. We’ll troll or bait fish depending on what’s working and how you want to fish—but the captain always recommends a more hands-on approach for the full ride. Some days, we’ll cover 150+ miles hunting these fish. It’s not for the faint of heart—but that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

Full Day - Tuna (MAX 4)

An extended full-day trip is all about showing you everything that the outer Cape has to offer. From tuna or shark in the deep to bass and bluefish closer in—and maybe even some whales and seals along the way—we pack it all in. It’s not just about catching fish, it’s about experiencing the full range of what makes this place so special.
