If you're itching for some sea spray in your face as you go after the trophy fish of a lifetime, this charter is right up your alley. Tighten Up Charters is serious about providing an excellent fishing adventure for their clients and they'll work hard to make it happen.
The boat used is a 27' Onslow Bay center console, powered by twin Mercury engines delivering 350 HP each. The boat is equipped with advanced electronics and navigation, making sure you know where the fish is at. It also has outriggers, a live bait well, and a toilet, to ensure you don't have to worry about anything but bagging that keeper.
The species targeted are varied, with Striped Bass and Bluefish, along with all sorts of Sharks, such as Blue Sharks, Mako Sharks, Threshers, and others. The star of the fishing menu is the Bluefin Tuna, anglers come from all over the world to fish it here. The preferred way of going after the Bluefin Tuna is a run-and-gun method, where you storm in at 50 miles per hour and start getting lines in as quick as possible.
Captain Matt Perachio has over two decades of fishing experience the surrounding waters and he's happy to share his vast knowledge with his customers. Children are encouraged to come aboard and learn how to set the hook, rig it and reel it in, no hand-holding here. Tuna over 73'' stay with the boat, according to federal regulations, the captain offers a third of its market value in return. Cleaning your catch is included in the trip price. The boat is disabled accessible and Tighten Up Charters invite all anglers to come aboard!

Book with Tighten Up! Captain Matt was excellent. Well prepared, attentive and safe. He put us on fish all morning. When stripers turned off we transitioned to flounder and cleaned up! Coolers full and even stayed later because the flounder bite was on. Highly recommended. Don't miss out with Tighten Up charters and Captain Matt, he hit it out of the park with this trip.
What a great morning we had. Giant topwater stripers to start the day and a cooler full of winter flounder to round out a great trip. You guys are gonna eat good tonight. Looking forward to having you guys back again!!!!
Matt Perachio has tremendous lifetime knowledge of the waters off Provincetown (and I'm sure beyond). He doesn't follow the crowd to find the fish, isn't one of the heard following other boats so you wind up in a circle of boats all trying to catch the same fish. He is well prepared to teach those of us with limited experience and expresses great enthusiasm when the fish is on the line!

Excellent time with Capt. Matt! Can’t say enough positive things about this trip; his experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for fishing made it a great day. Was very accommodating and followed up with all questions and was a great host on his boat! Definitely coming back!

Great trip! Everyone caught something and even the youngest in our party (~6yrs old) had a great time. The Captain was knowledgeable and just an all-around nice guy.
What a great trip we had. Your son is gonna make a great fisherman!!!
