If you’re looking to chase the fish of a lifetime, you’ve come to the right place. At Tighten Up Charters, we don’t just take you fishing—we put you in the best position possible to catch. Every trip is different, and we’ll do whatever it takes to give you the best opportunity.
You’ll fish from a 27’ Onslow Bay powered by twin Mercury 350s. It’s a fast, comfortable boat loaded with top-of-the-line electronics, outriggers, live bait systems, and everything needed to stay on the fish.
We target a variety of species throughout the season, including Striped Bass, Bluefish, Sharks, and our main focus—giant Bluefin Tuna. Anglers travel from all over the world for a shot at these fish. Most days we’re covering water at over 50 mph, looking for signs of life before making a quick move and getting baits or lures in front of feeding fish. It’s an exciting, hands-on style of fishing that keeps you involved all day.
Captain Matt Perachio has spent more than 20 years fishing these waters and enjoys sharing what he’s learned along the way. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first trip offshore, you’ll be part of the action—from spotting fish and making casts to fighting them all the way to the boat. Kids are always welcome.
Any legal catch you keep will be cleaned and bagged at no additional charge.

Our family had a blast out on the water Captain Matt! He knew just where to take us where the fish were biting, and we each caught a bunch. We’ll definitely be back in summers to come.

Book with Tighten Up! Captain Matt was excellent. Well prepared, attentive and safe. He put us on fish all morning. When stripers turned off we transitioned to flounder and cleaned up! Coolers full and even stayed later because the flounder bite was on. Highly recommended. Don't miss out with Tighten Up charters and Captain Matt, he hit it out of the park with this trip.
What a great morning we had. Giant topwater stripers to start the day and a cooler full of winter flounder to round out a great trip. You guys are gonna eat good tonight. Looking forward to having you guys back again!!!!
Matt Perachio has tremendous lifetime knowledge of the waters off Provincetown (and I'm sure beyond). He doesn't follow the crowd to find the fish, isn't one of the heard following other boats so you wind up in a circle of boats all trying to catch the same fish. He is well prepared to teach those of us with limited experience and expresses great enthusiasm when the fish is on the line!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
