Captain Carmen comes from a long line of Tofino fishermen who have been fishing the local waters for several generations. Having learnt the way of the salt from her father from a very young age, Carmen is now continuing the family legacy. Carmen honed her guiding skills working in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii) before moving back to her home town in 2008, when she started guiding on the Miss Sea. She loves sharing her passion for the local waters and all their inhabitants with her guests as well as with members of the the local community.

Just wonderful trip, Carmen is lovely and she knew just the right spot to land a Salmon, she is the 5th generation of her family in Tofino so she knows!

Fantastic experience
Our captain expertly guided us to some of the best fishing of a lifetime. The boat was very comfortable and well equipped, and the captain made sure we were fishing effectively at all times. We caught numerous kings and cohos with a fish on every 10 minutes or so and one instance when we had a double. Nothing but smiles and high-fives all around as we celebrated each success, and we would recommend this service to anyone.
