Your Captain specializes in offering top-quality private charters for small and large groups. He’s been in the charter service many years, so it’s fair to say that he has plenty of experience when it comes to offering world-class angling adventures! Whether you’re a budding fisherman looking to troll nearshore waters or a seasoned angler who wants to spend a whole day offshore, Cool Change Charters does offer something for everyone.

You’ll be fishing aboard a top-of-the-line 44ft Henriques offshore sport fishing vessel. She can accommodate up to 20 guests and is fully licensed for all of them. Your comfort and safety is Capt. Joe’s top priority – onboard, you’ll find all of the necessary navigational equipment to get you to the hotspots, as well as life jackets, a full toilet, and air-conditioning. There are also outriggers to maximize your trolling potential!

As for the species you’ll be targeting? It all depends on whether you opt to explore nearshore waters, or want to head further out on an offshore extravaganza! You’ll have the option to troll for King and Spanish Mackerel, bottom fish for a variety of Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack, and even come face-to-gills with the hard-fighting Mahi Mahi. Your captain and crew will be on hand to help you try out and refine different techniques.

An Introduction to fishing in the Gulf of America. We start out by Trolling out toward the bottom fishing spots with the opportunity to catch Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bonita and Jack Cravelle to name a few. When we reach or bottom fishing destination we will be fishing for a variety of species such as Vermillion snapper, Red Snapper, Black snapper, jacks, triggerfish, Sharks and more. We will keep what is legal size and in season and release the rest to be caught another day. Great intro trip.

Have a couple spots available with one of my customers trip that had some people cancel due to other obligations. This is a good chance to go with a small group that jas fished with ke over 30 years, only taking on 5 people and the original charter is paying the difference. Happy Fathers Day !

A 3-hour tour, trolling only, this is a nice late afternoon trip for the family or a group that wants to be on the Gulf of Mexico with an opportunity to catch Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, and Bonito. We also have a Green Egg Grill and supply the charcoal, spatula, and tongs if you bring something to cook and have a picnic on board. Relaxed afternoon, you don't have to bring all your luggage like on the Gilligans Island Show (unless you want to bring one full of cash!). Let's go have a good time!

3 Hour – Gilligans Island Trolling

Join us on a trolling adventure, this is a no experience just laid back wait till they bite reel em in type trip. We are Trolling for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bonita, Jack Cravelle and a few other fish may show up from time to time. This is a great affordable way to get your Family or group out on the Gulf of America and enjoy fishing . TROLLING is 3 to 4 rods boat is moving, take turns  when a fish hits. All Bait, Tackle and Licenses are included.

Trolling (AM) Family Special

Join Captain Joe on a quick and fun laid back family trip absolutely no experience necessary. During this 4-hour trip, you'll be trolling for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bonito, and Jack Crevalle and possibly more depending on season. Your trip includes Bait, Tackle and Licenses.
Wildlife usually spotted on this trip includes Osprey hunting for their fish and plenty of dolphins. TROLLING: boat always moving with 3 to 4 rods with lures when a fish hits take turns reeling them in easy and fun.

Join your captain and get ready to bottom fish for your dream catch! Whether you're a novice angler looking to try a new technique, or simply want to test out your bottom fishing skills, you'll have the chance to explore these waters for a variety of Grouper, Red Snapper, Triggerfish, and plenty more.
