Your Captain specializes in offering top-quality private charters for small and large groups. He’s been in the charter service many years, so it’s fair to say that he has plenty of experience when it comes to offering world-class angling adventures! Whether you’re a budding fisherman looking to troll nearshore waters or a seasoned angler who wants to spend a whole day offshore, Cool Change Charters does offer something for everyone.
You’ll be fishing aboard a top-of-the-line 44ft Henriques offshore sport fishing vessel. She can accommodate up to 20 guests and is fully licensed for all of them. Your comfort and safety is Capt. Joe’s top priority – onboard, you’ll find all of the necessary navigational equipment to get you to the hotspots, as well as life jackets, a full toilet, and air-conditioning. There are also outriggers to maximize your trolling potential!
As for the species you’ll be targeting? It all depends on whether you opt to explore nearshore waters, or want to head further out on an offshore extravaganza! You’ll have the option to troll for King and Spanish Mackerel, bottom fish for a variety of Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack, and even come face-to-gills with the hard-fighting Mahi Mahi. Your captain and crew will be on hand to help you try out and refine different techniques.
Your captain takes plenty of care to ensure your trip will be both safe and successful. He’ll also provide you with top-quality rods and reels, as well as tackle and live bait – everything you need for a successful day out on the water. Come aboard Cool Change Charters and get ready to reel ‘em in

Trolling (AM) Family Special
Great captain and first mate
Great trip and family friendly, no foul language to worry about with the crew, they helped the kids out a ton caught a ton of fish the entire trip. A/C was very cold which made it nice for the kids from getting overheated. Highly recommend Cool Changes for a charter. Thank you guys very much.

Trip was awesome
We had a great time . They are great . They made sure to take us to several different spots . Our deck hand was awesome and the captain . Every question my kids asked the deck hand and captain answered . Boat was very clean and the AC worked Great . Bathroom was very clean also

Full Day 8hr Red Snapper
Very good trip with Cool Change
Had a really good trip with Cool Change despite the fishing being slow the last few days. Capt kept us moving if the bite slowed. Appreciate the hunt for fish! Adam did a very good job managing 12 anglers, six of those had never been deep sea fishing before. Overall a very good trip.

4-Hour Trolling Family Special (pm)
Great fishing experience
The crew was great. We had 6 lines in the water within minutes of leaving the dock. We caught a few small mackerel right away but then not much for an hour or so. The crew kept working, changing lures and searching for fish. By the end, we all pulled in several ... and enjoyed our fresh catch at Zeke's restaurant. Fun afternoon on the Gulf.

Charter was great, fishing was OK because of weather. Windy, captain still got us on fish.went with 8 of us and we all caught fish.some of us experienced , and some it was 1st time.Deck hand was awesome in helping and explaining everything.Great people to deal with and talk to.would love to come back some time. Thanks again.
