Max Drag Charters invites you on a fishing adventure of a lifetime in the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama. They'll take you into the productive offshore waters bursting with diverse fish species. The charter is owned by Captain Curtis Bush who is a 4th-generation captain. The Captain of the vessel Max Drag 2 is Captain Christopher Powell( Capt Bebo). He's genuinely happy when he sees his guests’ smiling faces, so he'll go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your trip..

You'll head out aboard a very comfortable boat that provides a dry and fast ride being powered by two 475 Detroit engines. The 42' Bertram offshore sportfishing boat is made for long-distance trips and built to withstand any weather conditions, so sit back and relax on what promises to be a thrilling fishing adventure.

She comes fitted with comfortable padded seating, a toilet, a bedroom, and a kitchen for your convenience, as well as a flybridge from which you can fish and sightsee. The onboard GPS and fishfinder are used to locate the schools of fish, and the outriggers to maximize the catch while trolling. 

Max Drag Charters can take you to the nearshore and the offshore waters where you can fish for many offshore species. Target King Mackerel, Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, Grouper, Tilefish, Cobia, Bonito, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Swordfish, Marlin, and Sharks, as you embark on an all-rounded fishing experience.

You'll have a first mate on board who work extremely hard for gratuity so please make sure you tip them 20% of the trip price. They promise to make sure you are satisfied and are having a great time.

Head out into the Gulf and practice some bottom fishing and trolling as you test your fishing skills, vary your techniques, and still head home with plenty of fish to fill the freezer. 5 Hour Trip (AM)

Discover the beauty of the nearshore and offshore waters of Alabama on this 5-hour trip. Test your bottom fishing skills near the structures, and troll the open waters, as you test your fishing skills to land some delicious and exciting fish. 5 Hour Trip (PM)

Start your day in style and land yourself something delicious for lunch on this exhilarating trip out into the Gulf. Try trolling to catch some pelagic fish, or bottom fish to entice the bite of some other equally as tasty creatures. On this trip, you will bottom fishing for Red Snapper and possibly trolling for Bonita, Mackerel and many more. GRATUITY 20%

6 Hour Trip (AM)

Vary your fishing techniques and get the hang of fishing the Gulf of Mexico on this extended half-day trip. You'll be suitably refreshed after a morning back on dry land, so you should have no problem battling it out with some of the monster fish that await. On this trip, you will bottom fishing for Red Snapper and possibly trolling for Bonita, Mackerel and many more. Gratuity 20%

6 Hour Trip (PM)

Shark fishing

Spend the day out on the Gulf's productive waters as you head offshore. Get your fish on and drop your line to depths of up to 120 feet. Home to delicious Red Snapper, gray triggerfish, and exciting Amberjack as long as they are in season, among many more, you're in for a thrilling experience lifting these creatures from incredible depths and using all your strength and skills to fill the boat. 8 Hour Trip

Just an all-around non-stop catching bottom fishing trip. We'll catch live bait first then put out the high-speed trollers for wahoo and big kings. And start fishing about 30miles working our way out to deeper water.

12 Hour Trip - Bottom Fishing

This trip will take you trolling for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, mahi and tuna

12 Hour - Offshore Trolling

Embark on a 12-hour deep-sea adventure targeting swordfish and more! Head offshore, using deep-drop techniques with an electric reel at depths up to 1,750 feet. Trolling will be done on the way there and back. Perfect for experienced anglers seeking a thrilling challenge, this trip offers the chance to battle powerful swordfish in deep waters. Get ready for an unforgettable day on the open sea!

12 Hour Trip - Swordfish Deep Drop 

Whatever you want out of the Gulf, this trip delivers. Spend a night onboard a luxury boat and head out onto the productive waters and get your fish on for as long as you want. You can bottom fish for Groupers and Snappers along the reefs, you can head to the deep waters and swordfish, or you can test your strength against Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Marlin to fill the boat.
